CWC-International is the coalition of International Non-Governmental Organizations, with headquarter located in Kristiansand City, Norway.

    CWCI is the non-profit organization established as an international operational network for main CWC in Cambodia. Historically CWC is established by six strong organizations such as Free Trade Union of Workers of Kingdom of Cambodia (FTUWKC), Cambodia’s Independent Civil-Servants Association (CICA), Cambodian Independent Teachers’ Association (CITA),
    Students’ Movement for Democracy (SMD),
    and Cambodian Indepent Farmer Association. (CIFA).

    CWCI will continue its mission in order to reinforce the rule of law, enchane nationa unity, improve democracy and human rights protection for the sake of Cambodia.

The Founding Members

The Cambodia Watchdog Council International is a coalition of Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), which was established on September 16, 2002 by 6 Organizations. The founding members:

  1. Mr. Chea Vichea, Ex-President of Free Trade Union of Workers of Kingdom of Cambodia (FTUWKC). He was killed by murderers of Cambodia Government on January 22, 2004
  2. Mr. Chea Mony, Ex-Secretary General of CITA. He became the President of FTUWKC after the death of his elder brother Chea Vichea
  3. Mr. Rong Chhun, President of Cambodian Independent Teachers’ Association (CITA)
  4. Mr. Men Nath, Ex-President of Front of Khmer Students and Intellectuals (FKSI) in 2002-2004. In May 2004, he prsided over the congress of FKSI and changed its name as the Cambodian Independent Civil-Servants Association (CICA)
  5. Mr. Um Sam An, Ex-President of Student Movement for Democracy (SMD)
  6. Mr. Chham Chhany, President of Cambodian Independent Farmer Association (CIFA)
  7. Ms. Chhorn Sokha, Ex-President of Coalition of Cambodian Apparel Worker Democratic Union (C.CAWDU).
